Sitting here watching the Superbowl, I was surprised to see a commercial for a cash-for-gold scam operation. No matter how good they make these offers look, I'd recommend against turning to this kind of service to make a few extra dollars.
Before you consider setting yourself up to get ripped off, google "cash4gold" and make sure you get the real story. I won't bother linking to all the sites but you should see what Consumerist, Cockeyed, and Complaintsboard.com have to say about this operation. I wouldn't bother with Ripoffreport.com, for reasons you may uncover as you learn more of the story.
